The purpose is to actively support our spouses, the ministry and members of the church and community. Deaconesses are to carry out duties as directed by the Pastor and to let our “Light Shine Daily” as we grow spiritually in the Lord. The responsibilities of Deaconess are to prepare the communion table on 1st Sundays and to assist with the Baptism procedure by preparing candidates of Baptism with information on the process and to assist them during the Baptism process. The Deaconess are also to support the congregation through service and to support their husbands as they carry out their functions.
