The tragedy is that often times we don’t want to be made whole…we just want to patch up our lives.  We don’t look at the BIG picture to understand that if we are made whole then it gives us a new perspective and responsibility to do for ourselves and not have to depend on others.  When God makes us whole then we have to be able to embrace the fact that no longer can we take pity on ourselves, for now we have strength through Christ to pick ourselves up.

When the lame man in Acts 3 was made whole…it changed his condition.  When blind Bartimaeus in Mark 10 was made whole through the recovering of his sight…it changed his condition.  When the man with the withered hand in Matthew 12 was made whole…it changed his condition.  When the man at the pool of Bethesda in John 5 was made whole…it changed his condition.  We need to ask the Lord to changed our condition by making us whole.

Pray this prayer:  Lord I believe that you can do ALL things and if it is your will I am asking that you will make me WHOLE.  Strenghten me through your power, shower me with your love, show me with your grace and save me with your mercy.  Lord I don’t want to stay in this condition and Lord I don’t want to experience you through others.  I want to have my personal relationship with you.  Make me whole this day, if it is your will.  In the name of Jesus, I pray…Amen !!!
